Dirk Ulrich Gilbert is a Professor of business ethics and management at the University of Hamburg. He received his PhD from the University of Frankfurt and held positions at the University of New South Wales and the University of Nuremberg. His most recent research focuses on international accountability standards, labor rights in global supply chains, digital platforms, and political CSR. He has published in internationally acclaimed journals, such as Business Ethics Quarterly, Business and Society, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Journal of Management Inquiry, Management International Review, and the Journal of Business Ethics.
