Mayur Joshi is an assistant professor of information systems at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, and holds a PhD from Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada. His research interests are at the intersection of information systems and organization theory. He explores an overarching research question on how digital technologies shape and are shaped by the fundamental practices, processes, and strategies of organizing. His recent work examines the occupation of data science and the role of artificial intelligence in transforming work and organizational decision-making.
