Sofia Villo is a doctoral candidate at Aalto University School of Business in Espoo, Finland. She studies corporate irresponsibility as a systemic phenomenon which is maintained through an interlay of firms with national and global institutional contexts. The results of her research on corporate irresponsibility of large Russian state-owned mining and extractive firms were presented at the Academy of Management conferences, the European Group for Organizational Studies colloquia and published in the Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Ethics and SAGE Business Cases.
